Fanfare was recorded in the summer of 2017 at Tanglewood, by musicians of the Boston University Tanglewood Institute’s Young Artists Composition Program.
The piece sets each individual instrument in a single overtone series, and thus foregrounds the naturally-occurring pitches of the instruments in the scope of a fanfare.
